A custom fine leather document folding box measuring 10” x 12” with leather mosaic design of a turnip on both covers. Inside trays are lined with corkpaper and covered with red book cloth.

Custom leather clamshell folding box I made for this fabulous first edition 1930 signed Savoy Cocktail book. Done in the French “finishing” technique with gilding in 22k gold leaves and French mosaic leather onlays. Goatskin leather cover with bookcloth covered inner trays. Traditional Chinese/Japanese folding box made with vintage Japanese yuzen silk fabric and lined with moire silk.

An exquisite leather bound 3” x 3” x 1 1/2” jewellery box designed and made by me. It’s covered with red/black leather and inlaid with my “faux ivoire” and eggshell panels. The magnetic removable knob is incorporated onto the lid and is repurposed from a found antique pearl stud. I especially love the leather covered screwed on feet. The gilding is done with 22k gold leaves. I love the fusion of Asian & Western aesthetics.

A miniature pendulum clock with glass door made by me. It measures only 4x3x2" that fits in your palm. Private Collection.

A leather jewellery box I made measuring 8" x 5" x 3" bound in brown leather and mosaic coloured leather onlays with gilding.

Custom made quater leather clamshell book box with raised bands on the spine and leather corners. Decorated with lily of the valley French mosaic onlays, covered with red goatskin leather with linen fabric. Interior is lined with brown moire fabric. Brown leather label stamped with gold. The box is designed to house a collection of medical journals.

A rare 18th century Chinese canal map. Housed in a custom made Chinese/Japanese style folding box covered with 100% Japanese silk fabric and lined with yuzen washi. Leather label with gold stamping and bone claps enclosure. 7” x 3 1/2” x 1” box dimension.

German mechanism. I made this exquisite singing bird box housed in a box with a compartment for its windup key. Such a charming piece! You wind up the mechanism and pull the tassel and the little mechanical bird pops out chirping, moving flapping its wings and peaks and sings a beautiful whistling tone! Private Collection.
